
Steve Trussel: Executive Director
Steve Trussell became the Executive Director of the Arizona Rock Products Association in 2007. He is responsible for the the promotion and preservation of the sustainability of the rock & construction materials industry through active involvement in the community relations, regulatory, and political processes to which all administrative functions apply. Steve also served ARPA as the Community Relations Director, for several years before his appointment by the Board as Director of the Arizona Rock Products Association. Prior to joining ARPA, Steve was a consultant for the Arizona Mining Association as an advocate of the copper mining industry and later the Arizona Foundation for Resource Education. There he advocated for industry designed mining related curriculum and facilitated graduate courses on industry and curriculum and assessment related topics. Steve was an instructor in the Mesa Public School District for 14 years. There he served as grade level chairperson, assisted district curriculum development, was a special programs coordinator and coach. Steve received a B.A. and Masters Degree from Arizona State University and a Post Baccalaureate Degree from Ottawa University.
Steve has an affinity for the arts, photography, geology and has played football at the semi-professional level for 14 seasons. He feels there is simply nothing more gratifying than spending time with his two amazing children and sharing in their personal triumphs.

Laura Post: Membership Services Director
Laura Post currently oversee membership recruitment and services, training and seminars, networking events, awards programs and special projects as the Membership Services Director. She works closely with the Human Resources Committee and the Associate Members’ Committee to facilitate meetings, presentations and committee endeavors. She is also a representative on the Concrete Technical and Education, Community Relations and Safety/Transportation Committees. Laura joined the Arizona Rock Products Association (ARPA) in October of 2001 as an administrative receptionist working also for the Arizona Concrete Contractors Association (ACCA). She was promoted to administrative assistant solely for ARPA the following year and later appointed her current position. Laura has a Bachelor of Science degree in Global Business with a specialization in Marketing from the Arizona State University.
Having spent over a decade with ARPA, Laura’s passion for the rock products industry and the people who work in it are evident as she continues to strive for their success.

Elaine Trujillo: Executive Administrator
Elaine Trujillo joined the Arizona Rock Products Association in 2009. She manages the general accounting and works closely with events and membership services. Elaine was an Office Manager for a construction company from 1999-2009. In this capacity she managed the general accounting and was the initial point of contact for vendors, builders and homeowners. She is very proud to be a part of Arizona Rock Products Association and all the great work they are doing!
